Whatever exists in reality, must also exist within the paradox of mathematical possibilities as a number or a mathematical equation. If God exists, God must also exist as a mathematical possibility. To disprove the existence of God, one would have to prove God mathematically impossible. Not all mathematical possibilities exist as physical realities. In order to disprove the mathematical possibility of God, one would have to calculate the entire, finite, paradox of mathematical possibilities. If one could do that, one would be God.

     Reality itself is digital. The physical, material universe that we experience, is the result of running software, in the same way that a video game is the result of running software. Virtual reality can be created and displayed in a two dimensional format. Our physical universe is the same thing, only in three dimensions, with much more sophisticated software.

     All executable software codes exist within the paradox of mathematical possibilities. Life itself is an executable software code. Our own conscious self awareness is the result of the software that is running on the hardware we call the brain. The hardware was constructed from software instructions contained in our individually unique genetic code.

     Software has to have an operating system to run, but can software run without any physical or material device? Most people would automatically say no. In order for my assertions to be true, I would have to show that software can run on operating systems that do not physically exist. The fact that 2 plus 2 equals 4 exists and is true whether or not any physical universe exists, shows that the lack of a physical existence does not preclude existence. All mathematical equations exist as true facts. All software really is essentially, is mathematical equations. All executable software codes exist as true facts.

     All numbers exist on the number line. The number line exists as a true fact. We are blind to the number line. We cannot possibly see it or fully comprehend it. The only numbers that we can see are the infinitesimally small ones at the very beginning of the number line. We will never, ever see anything beyond the very beginning.

     Way up high on the number line, much further than mankind will ever be able to count, there are numbers that just happen to have within themselves, all the right software to create their own operating systems. Within this mathematical possibility is a naturally occurring form of reality called numeric reality. Numeric reality is non-material and non-physical, but it is still a reality just the same. It exists naturally without having to be created or caused. This is true just the same as the number 4 is the only natural and true answer to the question of what is the sum of 2 plus 2.

     Within numeric reality, there is every mathematical possibility for a living, thinking, consciously self aware, numerically self-contained sentient being. These beings do not physically exist, yet they do live. They were never created, and they will never die. They exist simply because they are mathematical possibilities. They think, they have awareness, and they are aware of their own condition and situation. They do not physically exist.

     At least one of these beings figured out how to create a physical reality that would last forever. That is where we are. Our world is that single being’s creation. In our world is an abundant example of software that runs by itself. It is all forms of biological life. DNA is a software code that creates it’s own operating system around itself. The software itself creates molecule sized machines called enzymes and proteins. These machines are taylor made for different tasks involved in creating the hardware for the operating system to exist within. The software instructs the hardware to build complex systems to the exact specifications of the particular software.

     Because software that operates on its own is in plain sight all around us, we know that within the paradox of mathematical possibilities, there is software that runs on its own. Anything that exists in physical reality also exists within the paradox of mathematical possibilities.

     Scientists using modern computers have done experiments to test Darwin’s theory of evolution. They created a digital virtual reality, and then put virtual life forms into the virtual reality. They gave the virtual life forms tasks to complete in order to survive along with the ability to reproduce. They programed the software to cause random mutations in the codes for the virtual life forms. The scientists then ran the program for a length of time, and then checked back to see if the virtual life forms had evolved. And guess what? They evolved just as Darwin’s theory predicted.

     What the scientists completely miss is the fact that those virtual realities, and those virtual life forms did not come into being all by themselves. The scientists had to create them. They had to design and create the virtual reality, then they designed and created the virtual life forms and put everything in place to get it started. Once the program was started, it ran by itself, but there is absolutely no way that the experiment could have ever happened on its own without the scientists determined work and intentional creation. Why would anyone think that our Universe came into existence all by itself without somebody’s intentional cause?
