Where did the Universe come from? Why does it exist? What is the ultimate beginning and destiny
for the Universe? What is the true state of reality? These are the questions that the sciences of astronomy and physics are
trying to answer. The big bang theory is an attempt to reverse engineer the Universe by following it backward through time
mathematically. Extra dimensional theories are an attempt to bridge the gaps between the mathematics of the Universe in theory,
and the actual observations made. These theories are parallel to Ptolomy’s and Brahe’s attempts to prove the geocentric
theory. They chose a premise and stuck to it for life, completely unwilling to consider any other possibility.
When the truth was finally realized, the geocentric theories evaporated. They now seem absurd,
but in their day, the scientists were very serious about their beliefs, just as they are today. They just refused to consider
the fundamental facts that pointed to a moving Earth, not a stationary world. By sticking to the geocentric theory, they blinded
themselves.
The latest theory of the origin of the Universe is called the "ekpyrotic universe." Its proponents
tell us to think of the Universe as a flat rubber sheet that is being stretched in all directions at the same time. The people
standing on the sheet would all be moving away from each other, but no matter where you are on the rubber sheet, it will always
seem like you are at the center. People would be moving away from you equally in all directions. The farther they are away,
the faster they would seem to move.
The ekpytrotic theory proposes that our four dimensional universe is the result of the collision
between a pair of three dimensional "membranes" or "branes," that exist and move within a five dimensional universe. Apparently,
these ‘branes’ were on a collision course for a very long amount of time. And then they collided, and a four dimensional
physical universe exploded into being everywhere all at once. This theory is an attempt to bend the mathematics to make them
fit what is being observed.
But this still leaves some big questions. Where did the five dimensional universe come from? What
is the fifth dimension? It can’t be a spatial dimension. There are only three of those, and the time dimension is already
taken. What exactly would a fifth dimension be? Did the five dimensional universe come from a collision between four dimensional
universes in a seven dimensional universe? Why don’t we see two dimensional universes colliding to become a three dimensional
universe?
The best way to reverse engineer the Universe would be to start out with no universe at all. A
zero dimensional state of complete non-existence of anything spatial or physical. You wouldn’t have to explain where
absolute nothing comes from because it’s absolutely nothing. Would anything exist if absolutely nothing physical existed?
The answer is yes, something would exist. A fact would exist. The fact that nothing physical exists
would exist. If facts can exist independently from a physical reality, what else could exist? Would a concept exist? Does
a concept necessarily need to have a consciousness to conceive it, or would it still exist as a potential concept? Would the
potential concept of a paradox be a paradox within itself? Would there ever be a case where two objects plus two objects did
not equal four objects? Can the Paradox of Mathematical Possibilities be changed?
Everything that can be found in the Universe can also be found in the Paradox of Mathematical
Possibilities. Mathematical facts exist independently from the physical universe that we experience. The concept of 2 plus
2 equals 4 is a mathematical reality. It is real because it is a fact. It is true, whether or not a physical universe exists.
If a mathematical equation exists because it is a fact, that means that all mathematical equations exist as facts. The concept
of life would exist as a mathematical reality. The Universe itself is a mathematical reality. And I mean that literally.
What is life? Biological life cannot exist independent of a material reality because biological
life is made of matter. Matter by itself cannot be, or create life. Life must have that software that tells the matter what
to do. It is not necessary for biological life to contain conscious self awareness or thought. What is it that gives biological
life the ability to think? It’s that computer made of meat that we call our brain. A computer is not a computer without
running software. When the software in our brain stops running, we are dead.
All software exists within the Paradox of Mathematical Possibilities. Software is just mathematical
equations, and all possibilities exist as facts. The Universe is a mathematical possibility, and in fact a reality; because
we are actually experiencing it. Here is a thought experiment that will help illustrate what I mean.
Suppose I have some super advanced technology that will allow me to place a living human brain
in a jar, and keep it alive. Suppose I have a super advanced computer that can mimic the data inputs from a human body to
the brain. Suppose I connect the computer to the brain (which is also a computer). The living brain in a jar would experience
whatever reality the computer feeds to it. Suppose I program the computer to feed the brain data that would tell the brain
that he is wearing snow skis, and is skiing down a hill in January in Aspen. If the computer mimics the data inputs to the
brain exactly, the brain would not be able to tell the difference between a real reality and the computer generated one. Somewhere
there would be a guy skiing down a hill in January, and he would be really experiencing it, but in reality it would just be
a brain in a jar.
The computer is just an electrical device to run software, and the brain is just a biological
device to run software. What if I could eliminate the hardware, and just run the software. I could have one set of software
inputting to another set of software, and somewhere there would be a guy skiing down a hill in January. To the guy skiing
down the hill, it would be as real as real could be, but in actuality, nothing physical would actually exist. It would just
be running software with no need for actual physical existence. If the skiing guy hits a tree, he’s going to feel all
the pain, or if he makes it to the ski lodge for some hot chocolate, he’s going to feel all the pleasure, and that is
all that is needed for it to be real.
Life is what makes the Universe exist and not vise versa. If a tree falls in the forest and there
is nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound? If there is nobody there to perceive it, the forest does not exist. Our
universe is not really a universe at all, it is a mathematical reality.
How did this physical reality come to be? The answer is simple; it was created. Who created it?
The answer; within the Paradox of Mathematical Possibilities there is a naturally occurring form of life. It has no physical
existence, but it does have conscious self awareness and thought. It has always existed, and always will exist, it is a mathematical
reality. You can call it God. What is the purpose of creating new physical life? The purpose of life is to live in paradise.
Life has no other purpose. Now we can reverse engineer our reality, and discover the Secret of the Universe.
