Dr. Sagan did not prove evolution. The only thing he proved is that you can change the look of a crab, through selective breeding. "Artificial selection" and "selective breeding" are the same thing. You can breed crabs until you have every mathematical possibility for a crab, and all you’ll ever get is crabs. You’ll never be able to breed a new species because it’s just impossible. All of our fruit trees, grain plants, vegetables, domestic food animals and pets, are the result of 5000 years of selective breeding. Evolution has never been proven. In fact, evolution is mathematically impossible.

The discovery of chromosomes should have completely demolished Darwin’s evolution theory, but there is nothing to replace it with. The only opposition to evolution is the Christian belief, but their theory depends on faith in supernatural magic, which is completely unacceptable for science. If God created all life, then there would still have to be a sound, reasonably understandable, and actual way for him to accomplish the task. The Christian alternative to evolution cannot be the only alternative, because the correct answer exists even if it isn’t known.

It seems that once a false belief takes hold and is passed on to succeeding generations, it becomes almost impossible to uproot. Those who have risen to power because of a particular dogma will not tolerate any attempt to change it. No one holding a false belief seems willing to examine the facts or allow their beliefs to stand trial. They will not consider even remotely, the possibility that their beliefs may not be true.

A person who holds a true belief will consider any opposing evidence, and will gladly allow their beliefs to stand trial. A person who holds a true belief does not want anything but the truth.
